Německý spolkový dluh vydává Finanzagentur jako Schatz (asi dva roky), Bobl (asi pět), Bund (deset a třicet) a inflačně vázané linie. Desetiletý bund je bezrizikovou referencí eurozóny; ostatní euro suveréni se obchodují jako spread k němu.
Záporné výnosy bundů se objevily v 2010. letech. Kupon není výnos: bund koupený za 140 může být stále „bezpečný“ kredit a špatný výnos do splatnosti.
